Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data the planner processes, why, to whom it discloses them, how long it keeps them and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller of personal data is Štěpán Jirman, a private individual, contact stepan.jirman.professional@gmail.com. No data protection officer has been appointed.

2. Planning without sending an inquiry

You can use the planner without registering and without entering any personal data. The kitchen layout, project name and other settings are stored only in your browser (see section 8), and the operator has no access to them unless you send them yourself in an inquiry or share them via a link. A shared link contains the design directly in the address; anyone who receives the link can see the design.

3. Inquiry

When you send an inquiry, we process:

• the name, e-mail address, telephone number and company name you enter,
• the project location, your message and details about the operation (type of establishment, number of meals, date, construction status, interest in installation),
• the kitchen design (room and selected products), its preview image and list-price value,
• the language, the country of the project (entered by you, otherwise derived from the country of connection) and the time of submission and of the individual versions,
• a record of the consent given (time, text version, language).

The purpose is to forward the inquiry for handling, to enable you to send a new version of the design via a personal link and to send you a confirmation by e-mail. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box before submitting. The inquiry cannot be sent without these data; instead, you can send the design to a sales representative yourself by e-mail.

We forward the inquiry and the above data for handling to RM Gastro (supplier of REDFOX equipment) and to its business partner for your country, whose name you see next to the consent, if a partner is assigned (for example, if you came to the planner via the partner’s link or website). RM Gastro and the partner further process the data as independent controllers in accordance with their own privacy policies, for example when preparing an offer.

The personal link to the inquiry (in the confirmation e-mail) allows you to view the design and send a new version of it. Do not forward the link to anyone.

4. Security and protection against abuse

To protect the planner and the inquiry form against bots and overload, we process technical connection data: the IP address (for request rate limits, only its salted one-way hash), the country of connection and browser data. The form may be protected by the Cloudflare Turnstile service, which evaluates browser signals to distinguish humans from bots. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Portal for sales representatives and partners

For users of the inquiry portal (staff of RM Gastro and of business partners), we process e-mail address, name, language, notification settings, password hash, logins and the history of actions in the portal. The purpose is access management, handling of inquiries and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Passwords are stored only as a cryptographic hash.

6. Processors and transfers outside the EU

We use the following processors for operation:

• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — hosting, database, file storage, protection against bots and attacks,
• Resend (USA) — sending e-mails.

These providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the USA. Transfers are based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) where the provider is certified, otherwise on standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention period

• Closed inquiries (won, lost, spam): we anonymise personal data 24 months after the last change; other inquiries no later than 36 months after the last change. The kitchen design and figures without personal data are kept for statistics.
• Customer record without a valid inquiry: 36 months from the last change.
• Content of sent e-mails: 90 days (the record of sending is kept).
• IP address hashes for request limits: 48 hours.
• Portal login: a session is valid for at most 7 days, a login link for 15 minutes; the account until it is closed.
• If you withdraw your consent or request erasure, we anonymise the data earlier.

8. Cookies and browser storage

The planner does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and does not embed third-party content that would track you. It stores only what is necessary for functions you yourself request and therefore does not require cookie consent:

• browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage): your projects, the selected language, the partner from the link, the country for utility installations, display settings and the state of the start page,
• cookie rfp_lang: the language you selected manually (1 year),
• cookie rfp_s: portal login (only for portal users; removed after logout or expiry),
• Cloudflare may set technical cookies to protect against attacks and bots.

You can delete data in browser storage in your browser settings (clear site data); this will also delete your projects.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw your consent at any time by e-mail to stepan.jirman.professional@gmail.com; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. In respect of data already received by RM Gastro or the business partner, you can also exercise your rights directly with them. We will respond to a request without undue delay and at the latest within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Czech Office for Personal Data Protection; Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.gov.cz) or with the supervisory authority of the EU state in which you live or work.

10. Further information

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling and do not use the data for marketing. The planner is not intended for children. We may amend this policy; the current version with its effective date is always available on this page.

Terms of use

1. About the planner

The planner is a free online tool for an indicative design of a food-service operation with REDFOX equipment. It is operated by Štěpán Jirman (see Operator). By using the planner, you agree to these terms.

2. The design is indicative

The design, dimensions, 3D view, layout, connection points and other outputs are only indicative visualisations. They are not project documentation, do not replace a designer and do not assess compliance with hygiene, building, fire, electrical, gas or other regulations. They must be verified by a qualified professional before implementation. The appearance of the 3D models and the opening of parts may differ from the actual products.

3. Prices and availability

Prices are list prices, excluding VAT, and are for information only. Neither the display of a price, stock level or availability nor the sending of an inquiry constitutes an offer or the conclusion of a contract. A binding offer will be prepared for you by RM Gastro or its business partner; you conclude the purchase contract with them, not with the operator of the planner.

If the planner is opened from a business partner’s link or website, the partner’s own list prices may be shown (also in another currency, e.g. Swedish kronor). The partner sets these prices and is responsible for them; the planner operator does not verify them.

4. Rules of use

• Use the planner only for its intended purpose and in accordance with the law.
• Do not interfere with its operation or security, do not attempt to circumvent the form’s protection and do not download data by automated means.
• Do not enter unlawful content or other persons’ personal data without authorisation in inquiries or project names.

5. Intellectual property

Product brands, names, photographs, technical data, prices and 3D models belong to their owners. Without their consent, you may not copy or further distribute them beyond normal use of the planner and sharing your own design.

6. Availability and liability

We provide the planner free of charge and as is, without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors or completeness of data. Projects stored only in your browser may be lost (for example, by clearing browser data); share important designs via a link or send them in an inquiry. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the planner or from reliance on its outputs. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Portal and plugin for partners

Access to the inquiry portal and the planner plugin for business partners’ websites are provided by the operator on an individual basis. Portal users protect their access credentials and treat inquiries and customers’ personal data confidentially and only for the purpose of handling them. A partner who embeds the plugin on its website is responsible for informing the visitors of its website.

8. Final provisions

The planner is not an official website of RM Gastro or of any other manufacturer or seller. The REDFOX and RM Gastro brands, product names, photographs, technical data, prices and 3D models belong to their respective owners; product data come from RM Gastro.

The planner runs on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, database, file storage). E-mails are sent by the Resend service.
